Joan is a new full length, fully orchestrated, ready-to-perform Musical, suitable for performance by senior secondary students or adults.

Based on the life of Joan of Arc, it combines one of the most inspirational stories in the annals of human history with evocative, contemporary music, and a powerful script, in a way which both challenges performers and delights audiences.

When first staged by Notre Dame College in 1993 it was a finalist in the prestigious ANA Drama Awards, for Best Original Production.

Joan is an ideal vehicle for schools and amateur production companies.
It features a large cast: 20 + principal/solo roles for a range of characters, ages and voices.The battles provide the opportunity for dynamic choreography and dance. And with choruses of peasants, servants, soldiers, clergy, courtiers and inquisition there is something for everyone.
